How do I know which oil to use in my car?

Red Line Synthetic Oil
How do I know which oil to use in my car?

Reference your owner's manual and make a direct cross-reference from there. Most engines use 5W30 or 10W30 motor oil for general use, 10w40 if you live in a hotter climate. Our most popular automatic transmission fluid is D4 ATF where a Dexron III, Mercon, or Mercon V is called for. Our C+ATF works in place of Chrysler ATF+3 and ATF +4. Manual transmissions typically call for ATF, GL4-, or GL-5 type gear oils. Where your manual transmission calls for an ATF, Red Line's D4 ATF is the most common cross reference, but in some Chrysler applications, our C+ ATF is the correct product. Use our MTL (80wt) our MT-90 (90wt) where GL-4 type gear oil is recommended and 75W90NS where GL-5 type products are typically specified for manual transmissions or transaxles.
